CIGARETTE (TOBACCO) SMOKERS IN MALAYSIA
Tobacco is one of the leading preventable causes of death in Malaysia. Under the current law, smoking is banned in all public places. These include amusement centers, theatres, hospital, clinics, public vehicles and air-conditioned restaurants. Likewise, anyone underage of eighteen is not allowed to buy cigarettes or any tobacco products. Free cigarette samples are not allowed to be distributed at the public events or places as this carries a maximum fine of RM 5000 or not more than two years jail.
The British American Tobacco Malaysia is a part of the world’s second largest international tobacco group and is the largest manufacturer of cigarettes in Malaysia The government is losing approximately RM1.5 billion in revenue annually. The illegal market has spawned a major industry which gives syndicates operating smuggling networks up to RM1 billion in profits yearly. It also defeats the government’s move to raise prices to discourage smoking among the young. An explanation on why people continue smoking regardless of the dangers is because as for teenagers, they smoke to appear older and more grown up, especially if they are surrounded by young adults who smoke. As for the adults they smoke due to stress in their work and there are some who smokes to lose weight, replacing foods with cigarettes.
The individual cost to a smoker’s health and well being is enormous, but financially costs are high as well. Smokers pay higher life insurance premium and contribute billion of dollars in taxes, while nonsmokers never have to pay. Smoking is also associated with the costs of physical damages such as burn holes in furniture, clothes, car interior, and fires, and then there is the cost of cigarettes themselves.
One of the ways to quit smoking among the smokers are they should be recommended to the E-Cigarette. It is an electronic cigarette which looks like a cigarette. However, the cigarette does not contain tobacco or any other harmful substances.
Tobacco use has negative economic consequences on every level from global, domestic and individual. The tobacco has claimed that a major decrease in tobacco consumption would seriously damage the economy because the government revenues will be less Overall, tobacco smoking should be banned in a country in order to protect our planet, economy, and individual’s health.

THE EFFECTS OF TSUNAMI DISASTER TO ECONOMICS ON POOR COUNTRY
Economics is a social that is concerned with the production, distribution, and consumptions of good and services. Tsunami disaster happened at 24.11.2004 at certain poor country like Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Aceh, Indonesia which is affected the economics growth.
The total of loss was very high and the government had spent more money to reconstruct the building that destroyed because of this disaster. The government has estimated that Aceh will require some $4bn over the next five years. Sri Lanka faces a hefty reconstruction bill, since its damaged infrastructure was more developed than in many affected areas. The Asian Development Bank estimates the reconstruction cost at $1.5bn. More worrying still is the longer-term effect on the crucial tourism industry. Besides, the less of investor that interest to invest at the stock exchange made the economy became worst. This is because the investor is one of the important economy developers in these countries.
The International Labour Organisation has estimated that some 1 million jobs have been lost in Indonesia and Sri Lanka because of this disaster. This condition made the demand and supply decrease and also affected import and export activities which is made the economy moved slower. At India South some 70% of the islands' jetties have been damaged then made trouble for the fishing industry which is source of two-thirds of local employment. On other hand it also made many people lost their permanent jobs
Economy event in these countries had been affected by tsunami disaster. In conclusion, it showed many changes to theses country before and after tsunami especially in economy development. Every country must beware with the economy event that will affect their country with any things happen.

THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF POVERTY ON THE COUNTRY’S ECONOMY
Poverty is a social issue that has grown over time to be one of the greatest problems concerning the world. This issue has been around a while, but many people do not care. Living here in we really do not get to experience what it is like to live a day without food. Poverty for most people has grown to be quite large. People have to make more just to survive in this world. Even around the world people seem cannot make enough just to feed their own children. This essay will discuss about the problem concerning poverty as well as the effects.
Poverty often drastically affects children’s success in school. It is not false to say that children who live at or below poverty level will have far less success educationally than children who live above the poverty line. Poor children have a great deal less healthcare and this ultimately results in many absences from the academic year. This problem will relate to the country’s economy. It gives bad effects towards the economy of the country. The children who do not attend the school will bring loss to the government because the money that the government spends for the children’s education will not be used exactly as it is for.
Furthermore, there has been the distinction between the rich and the poor. During most of the time the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. Those who live in poverty suffer from hunger or even starvation and disease. Hunger and disease are always describing people in poverty. Asthma is the common problem children faced when born into poverty. This problem and disease also will affect the economy of the country because the government needs to invest more towards the health problems among the people.
In a nutshell, education, money, and health play important roles in life. Those who do not have these kinds of things are labeled as those in poverty. Poverty gives bad effects towards the economy of the country. There are many ways to reduce the poverty in the country. The government should take the first steps to ensure that no more poverty in their country, such as invest more on the people in poverty or build free houses to those in poverty.

CAUSE AND EFFECT OF EPIDEMIC DISEASE RELATED TO COUNTRIES ECONOMIC
According to Oxford Advanced Dictionary (1994), the definition of ‘epidemic disease’, is spreading rapidly among many people in the same place for a time. In other word, an epidemic refers to a disease that spreads quickly and furiously from a person to a person, infecting more people in the region, and when an epidemic crosses states it spread globally.
Studies show that the causes of epidemic disease are varies, for example influenza infections are from fleas bites, that goes to the lymphatic system and enlarges the lymph nodes of the groin, neck or armpit. Dengue fever is cause by Aedes mosquito bite, where it transmit virus into our body and could cause a serious infection. Lack of sex education may also lead to epidemic disease such as Aids, in this condition a person who are infected, could always transmit the virus through sex. For some reasons epidemic diseases like H1N1, Cholera, Hand, Foot and Mouth could trigger because of lack of proper health care and management.
The effects of epidemic diseases are huge. The instabilities of the economy in a country is one of the major issues arise from epidemic diseases. It affects a lot on the tourism sectors which involved not only the use of public transport but also hotels business. Moreover, Investors will back out from investing their money or business and which will lead to a very poor economic growth. The affected countries will also have to spend billions of dollars on drugs or antibiotics to cure not only the diseases but also on health care support due to sexual activities. The plague of AIDS is adding a new twist to our fears. According to Shahid Athar (2006) in his research on ‘Sex education, Teenage pregnancy, Sex in Islam and marriage ’, 200,000 cases have been diagnosed with Aids in the US alone, out of which 50% have already died. The disease is growing at a rate of one case every 14 minutes and so far there is no effective treatment.
Through practising Islam, the epidemic diseases can always be prevented. This is because, the Islamic perspective on living hygienically was essential both because, it led to physical well-being, and revealed proper moral character. Hygiene as a system included not only personal hygiene related to food, clothing, exercise, cleanliness, but also sexual control. Fasting was enjoined in the Qur'an in the earliest Surahs, and certain foods were forbidden to humans, for example pork, which only lately has been elucidated to contain 'virus' which are deleterious to health, which also results in the foremost cause of H1N1. Only through action can we hope to change this thought set, because the very societal values of one country needs to be changed to address this main cause.

Desktop VS Laptop
A desktop computer is a personal computer (PC) in a form
intended for regular use at a single location, as opposed to a mobile
laptop or portable computer. Prior to the widespread use of
microprocessors, a computer that could fit on a desk was considered
remarkably small. Most modern desktop computers have separate screens
and keyboards compared to laptops which consist of various types of
advanced facilities in it.
Laptops are said to be far more popular and preferable for
people nowadays compared to desktops. From the aspect of mobility,
desktops couldn’t be brought to other places than its original place
due to its supporting equipments that are huge and heavy while laptops which do not consist all these equipments can easily be brought anywhere at anytime. Moreover, laptops are lighter than desktops.
As mentioned in the previous paragraph, laptops are more
popular and preferable by the community today. Besides, today the costs
of laptops are less expensive compared to desktops. Other than
that, there are computer fairs held in some places which the
purchasers of laptops will gain discounts for their purchases.
Those days the teachers and lecturers did their teachings
manually by assigning their students with homework directly to them and the
students would complete their assignments given manually too. Today, the teachers and lecturers are teaching through computers. Thus, students today are assigned with homework through E-mails and blogs. Furthermore, studying through laptops or computers are more beneficial than studying manually as it will enhance the users
knowledge in this upcoming era.
So, it is very clear that laptops are more beneficial than
desktops. Therefore, everyone including students and teachers should
own a laptop to make life easier and valuable.
